Brand

The logo, colors, and type I use across this site, GitHub, and LinkedIn. If you're writing about me or linking to my work, use these files as they are.

The mark

An M drawn as a signal that turns into an S drawn as a circuit trace, with a solder pad at each end. The signal is for music and oscilloscopes, the trace is for where I started (embedded systems), and the one continuous line is the path from hardware to full stack.

Using it

Space and size

Leave clear space around the ring at least as wide as one of the pads. Below about 24 px, use the icon (the mark on its ink tile) rather than the bare mark.

Backgrounds

The full-color mark works on ink and on white. On photos or the pink→violet gradient, use the white version.

Please don't

  • Recolor it or flip the gradient
  • Stretch, squash, or rotate it
  • Take the letters out of the ring
  • Add outlines, bevels, or drop shadows
  • Put the full-color mark on a busy photo

Colors

Click a swatch to copy its hex value. On white backgrounds, use the deeper pink and violet for text: the bright ones don't have enough contrast there.
